I'm in Love.

It's my Philips 700watt variable speed with turbo immersion stick blender. My ghod. How have I lived without this?

I sent the German out (he wanted to look at car radios) and he came back wit this. After the fiasco of the electric mixer with two speeds (hit me in the face with batter versus hit the ceiling with batter) he clearly decided to redeem himself. This thing is amazing!

I made potato-leek soup (with my own stock, and I also made vegetable stock today) and this pureed it, in a full pot, without a single blurp and magnificently. Wow. I can't wait to use it on other recipes.

Nice gizmo.

And how did you get the snow app to work on your blog? I couldn't get it to work.

I can't live without my immersion blender either and it is so easy to clean. It mnakes pesto in a snap and soups, and chops herbs, the list is endless!!!On another note thanks for visiting my blog and I have fixed the Danish link:D

@Danie: try this
"http://www.bloggerbuster.com/2008/12/simple-snow-effect-widget-for-blogger.html" without the quotes.
@Bellini: Thanks. I just made the sugar cookies today. Tasty and flavorful.

Thanks. That was the Botero exhibit last year when I wandered around during Berlin am Licht. It was lovely and I think I have a Botero synchronicity: his displays are frequently in cities where I am.

That's funny, I'm making soup right now and was just about to whip out my handy dandy immersion blender!

Hey, quick question, did your instructions give a maximum temperature at which you can blend soups? I got mine from a friend who was moving back to the States and didn't want to take her 22oV stuff with her. Anyway, there were no instructions with it.

I have a feeling that it's probably not good for the plastic to put it in boiling liquids? Have you ever seen anything about this?
