A quick aside...

I was wandering through some of the bloggers I like to read when Charlotte caught my eye with the cover of one of my old favorites : Anne of Green Gables. So of course I needed to take the quiz. Try it yourself, why don't you?

You're Siddhartha!

by Hermann Hesse

You simply don't know what to believe, but you're willing to try
anything once. Western values, Eastern values, hedonism and minimalism, you've spent
some time in every camp. But you still don't have any idea what camp you belong in.
This makes you an individualist of the highest order, but also really lonely. It's
time to chill out under a tree. And realize that at least you believe in
ferries.

Take the Book Quiz

SO what did you think of your analysis?

Actually, Siddhartha is one of the formative books of my youth (with Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged, amonst others). I think I've moved past it, though, and am old enough (and lucky enough in finding my German) to never feel as totally alone as I did feel younger.
I also took the quiz again and was able to come up with other books by answering different questions also truthfully, so the quiz is a bit too simplistic, of course. Have you taken it yet?

I took this twice for the reasons you mentioned. It seems some the questions I rate 50/50 on the answers. Well, anywho, it branded me as Catcher in the Rye and "Invisible Man"...I'm not sure which is a better description.
